Master Jeff Lawson started Taekwondo later in life at the age of 48 under the instruction of Grandmaster K.O. Spillman and his masters at American Taekwondo Centers in Corona, CA. Since then, he has had the privilege of furthering his studies with Master Jose Amador and Master Mary Rigg at Action Martial Arts in Corona, CA.

Throughout his martial arts studies at ATC, he has had the honor of training under and along with Master Gus Duran. Master Lawson is very excited to be part of the 540 Taekwondo Martial Arts staff and plans to continue training as this center continues to grow under the leadership of Master Duran.

Master Lawson also holds a black belt in Koryo Gumdo (Korean sword art) and has studied Haidong Gumdo under the instruction of Master Jose Amador. He also works as a senior computer programmer.
